News / SNH reception invite
SCOTTISH Natural Heritage is inviting local people to an informal reception in Lerwick next week.
The government agency chairman Ian Ross will host the event along with fellow board member Cath Denholm and area manager Kristin Scott.
“It’s so important for our physical and mental health to spend time outdoors, enjoying nature,” Ross said.
“The reception will give people in Shetland the chance to talk with senior staff about these important topics, as well as the wider work of SNH.
“This is a really useful way for us to keep in touch with what the public feels is important in our work. We hope many people will be able to come along, and we look forward to meeting them.”
The reception will be held in the Islesburgh Community Centre on Tuesday 21 February between 7 and 9pm.
Questions and comments can also be sent to SNH by Twitter @SNH_TWEETS or use #SNHengage or by posting on the SNH Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ScottishNaturalHeritage/
