News / Who’d be a councillor?

FOUR local councillors will share their experience of what it is like to be an elected member of the SIC at a panel discussion aimed at attracting interest in the forthcoming local government election in May.

Councillors Davie Sandison, George Smith, Amanda Westlake and Allan Wishart will answer questions and talk about their time in the Town Hall during an evening organised by the Althing debating society.

The Who’d be a councillor? Speakeasy will held in the Staney Hill Hall in Lerwick on Saturday 11 February at 7.30pm. Entry is £2.
