News / Ferry disruption warning
PASSENGERS are being warned to expect significant delays and possible cancellations on the lifeline NorthLink ferry service to and from Shetland in the coming days.
The ferry operator said on Friday that services on Monday evening and Tuesday may be called off due to strong winds.
NorthLink added that the Hrossey’s southbound sailing on Saturday evening will leave at midnight instead of the scheduled 7pm.
It is expected that the vessel will arrive into Aberdeen on Sunday in the mid-afternoon.
