News / Woman rescued from Lerwick harbour

A WOMAN was rescued from the water in Lerwick harbour in the early hours of Monday.

Shetland Coastguard teams and local police were called to the scene at the small boat harbour at 1.45am.

The woman was checked over by paramedics after having been pulled from the water by police officers.
