News / Raffle in support of British Heart Foundation

Law firm founder Brian Inkster and trainee solicitor Evonne Morrison aim to raise thousands for the British Heart Foundation Scotland.

GLASGOW based law firm Inksters is holding a Shetland themed raffle in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The company, which has Shetland roots, has a total of 23 prizes on offer, including return flights from Sumburgh to Aberdeen and travel on the NorthLink ferry.

Trainee solicitor Evonne Morrison, who originally hails from Shetland, is leading the fundraising campaign.

Raffle tickets cost £2 and entrants can take part multiple times.

Morrison said: “The British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland was an obvious choice for Inksters to raise money for after one of our lawyers was diagnosed with coronary heart disease aged 40 and then suffered the loss of her mother from a heart attack.

“After choosing to support the BHF Scotland, I was astonished to hear how many have a ‘heart story’ and can relate to the charity in one way or another, myself included.

“I can’t thank the local businesses in Shetland enough who have very kindly donated goods and services to the Inksters’ Big Shetland Raffle. I have been overwhelmed by their generosity.”

The raffle will be drawn on 17 February, with Morrison heading up to Lerwick to sell tickets in person at the Tesco supermarket on Monday from the afternoon onwards.

Tickets can also be bought online at www.inkstersgive.com
