News / Oil boiler caught fire
A SHED at Girlsta was damaged when an oil boiler in the building caught fire on Friday morning.
Two appliances from Lerwick and Scalloway were called to a scene, about 10 miles north of Lerwick. Police also attended.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was extinguished at 11.42am after having been alerted at exactly 11am.
Fire fighters used one hose reel jet, two sets of breathing apparatus and small equipment to tackle the fire.
