News / Helicopter landed safely
AN EMERGENCY was called at Sumburgh Airport on Thursday evening after an incoming CHC operated Sikorsky helicopter with 12 people on board reported a warning light.
The Lerwick lifeboat, coastguard, police, ambulance and fire service were tasked at around 6.15pm, but they were stood down less than 15 minutes later when the helicopter landed safely.
