A WOMAN in her seventies has been taken to hospital with a leg injury after being hit by a blue Vauxhall Astra car at the Co-op car park, in Lerwick, on Thursday at around 2pm.

Police are now calling for any witnesses of the collision to contact them at the Lerwick police station on telephone 101.
