A TEENAGER from Unst has been nominated for this year’s Rural Innovator awards for the ‘Dynamic Dancers and Dancing Monkeys’ classes she runs in the island.
Sula Brookes from Baltasound, who celebrated her 16th birthday at the weekend, is the only Shetland nominee for the Scotland-wide awards this year.
The winner, from a shortlist of four, will be selected by public vote and the deadline is this Sunday (18 September).
You can vote for Sula by visiting the Scottish Rural Parliament’s website and follow the instructions below.

- Step 2: Scroll down the screen and select + on Rural Innovators Award …for Young People
- Step 3: Choose Dynamic Dance
- Step 4: Confirm your vote
- Step 5: ask other people to do the same.
