News / Bailed on assault charge
THREE men have been released on bail after appearing from custody in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday on a petition alleging assault to injury and permanent disfigurement.
Twenty year old Mark Rushby, of Lerwick, 19 year old Nathan Robertson, from the Westside, and 57 year old Richard Bradley, from Lerwick, all made no plea or declaration during their separate appearances and were committed for further examination.
Bradley also appeared on a charge of carrying an offensive weapon in a public place, with no plea or declaration made.
