BREAST screening is going ahead as planned from a mobile screening unit at Clickimin in Lerwick on Tuesday following disruption due to fog yesterday.

NHS Shetland said the radiographers had arrived on Monday evening and service was able to resume on Tuesday morning.

A spokeswoman apologised for the disruption and any inconvenience it may have caused.

Anyone who wishes to rearrange their 11 July appointment can contact the NHS’s breast screening service on 01224 550570.
