AN EMERGENCY was declared at Sumburgh Airport on Friday afternoon after an incoming helicopter’s cockpit warning light came on.
Emergency services were notified at around 2.20pm, but the S92 helicopter landed safely around 20 minutes later.
A spokeswoman for CHC confirmed that a total of 16 people were on board at the time.
One fire appliance attended the scene and two others were stood down while in transit.
