News / Cooker fire in flat stairwell
FIRE crews were called out in the early hours of Wednesday morning after an old cooker caught fire in the stairway of a block of flats in Lerwick.
Two appliances responded at around 1.20am, but the fire at Grostane property had already been extinguished upon arrival.
The crews helped to remove the cooker from the building.
