News / Man arrested over sudden death

POLICE have arrested and charged a 28 year old man in connection to the sudden death of a man in Cunningsburgh at the weekend.

He will appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday.

Police launched enquiries after a 34 year old man was found dead in a property in Cunningsburgh on Saturday at around 10.20pm.

They initially treated the death as unexplained.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
