News / Sponsorship boost for Thistle
LERWICK Thistle Football Club has received donations from builders’ merchant Jewson and the Whalsay pelagic fishing boat Adenia.
The money has allowed the football club to buy new training tops, jackets and hoodies, as well as equipment.
Thistle FC president Michael Duncan said they are “hugely grateful” for the two companies’ financial support.
“Their welcome boost to club funds has enabled us to subsidise the merchandise and allowed us to secure training venues and purchase equipment – all of which helps with the smooth running of the club,” he said.
