A TEENAGE girl is in a stable condition in hospital in Lerwick after falling down a hill while on a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award excursion on Saturday afternoon.
The 15 year old was airlifted by Shetland coastguard to hospital at around 1.20pm after she fell while walking at the Deepdale burn near Maywick.
On Saturday evening hospital staff confirmed the girl was in a stable condition.
