News / Custody for drugs accused

A thirty four year old Lerwick man has been remanded in custody after appearing in private at the town’s sheriff court accused of drug offences, on Monday.

Appearing from custody, Peter Henderson made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.

Earlier on Monday, Lerwick police said they had seized a quantity of heroin after searching a house in Lerwick, on Friday.
