POLICE in the isles are appealing for witnesses after receiving reports of an alleged incident of careless driving on the A970 between the Black Gaet and the Brig o’ Fitch, on Thursday at about 1.35pm.

A police spokesman said a black estate car has possibly been driven at inappropriate speed and manoeuvring carelessly.

Anyone with any information regarding this is asked to contact local police on 101 or at the Lerwick Police Station.
