POLICE are seeking information about a fraud believed to have taken place at the premises of social enterprise COPE Ltd in Lerwick on Saturday.

The incident is believed to have taken place at COPE’s premises at the south Gremista industrial estate at around 11.30am.

Police said two suspects had been identified. One is described as a white male in his late 40s who is six feet tall, has a medium build, dark short hair, was wearing a light coloured jumper and speaks good English with a foreign accent.

The second suspect is a woman in her early 50s who is around five foot four inches in height, has a small build, a dark bob haircut, was wearing dark clothes and jacket and speaks bad English in a foreign accent.

Meanwhile, police are also seeking information after a car was damaged at Lerwick’s South Lochside over the weekend.

The incident took place between 8.30pm on Friday and 11.25am on Monday.

Any witnesses to either crime are asked to phone Lerwick Police Station by dialling 101.
