News / Drunk woman in town arrest

A THIRTY four year old woman has been arrested for allegedly behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in the centre of Lerwick at the weekend.

Police said the drunken incident occurred at the Alex Morrison’s shop on the town’s Commercial Road on Saturday.

Meanwhile a 41 year old man was arrested that day for possessing cannabis on Commercial Street. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
