News / Ollaberry power cut
MORE than 200 properties in the Ollaberry area of Shetland lost power on Wednesday night because of a mechanical fault.
Scottish and Southern Energy said a total of 220 customers were without electricity from around 8.10pm due to a faulty transformer, which has now been replaced.
The company said power was restored in stages and all customers were reconnected by around 1.30am on Thursday morning.
