News / Bambino&Beyond nominated
A SHETLAND-based business that runs sensory development classes for young children has been nominated for a national award for the third year in a row.
Bambino & Beyond, which is helmed by mum of three Jenny Teale, is up for a prize at the What’s On 4 2016 Junior Awards.
The business is nominated in the best local activity for under 5s category, with public voting the next stage in the process.
People can vote via www.whatson4littleones.co.uk, www.whatson4schoolkids.co.uk and www.whatson4kidsparties.co.uk until 11 May, with the winners announced on 23 June.
Teale said it is an “honour” to be nominated for the awards for a third time.
“We are delighted that our customers enjoy our classes as much as we enjoy delivering them,” she added.
“We would love to make it to the next stage of the competition but I suppose that is up to the public now. It would be great if everyone took the time to vote us to the final stages.”
Bambino & Beyond was launched in 2012 by Teale and business parter Jan Mackie and it has since branched out to Orkney and Aberdeenshire.
Last year Teale was nominated for the finals of the 2016 Mumpreneur Awards.
