News / Ferry sailings cancelled
FERRIES to and from Shetland on Saturday have been cancelled as a result of adverse weather.
NorthLink confirmed its southbound sailing has been shelved, while the northbound journey will operate to schedule until its planned stop in Kirkwall.
The MV Hjaltland will then travel back to Aberdeen at 11.50pm.
Saturday’s freight sailing from Aberdeen to Lerwick has also been cancelled.
Sunday’s sailings meanwhile are likely to be subject to delays.
