A THIRTY four year old man has been kept in jail after making a private appearance at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday on a charge of supplying drugs.

Robert Anthony Finnie, of Inverness, appeared from custody on a petition alleging that he contravened section 4(3)(b) of the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.

He made no plea or declaration, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
