News / Ferries stay in port
ALL NORTHLINK services to and from Shetland, including the cargo boat, have now been cancelled.
The ferry operator confirmed on Monday morning that due to the next storm battering Scotland most of their vessels would stay in port.
The only exceptions are the Pentland crossing where two sailings have been brought forward, and the cargo boat Helliar whose scheduled journey from Kirkwall to Aberdeen has been rescheduled.
Meanwhile, it looks as though Shetland will escape the brunt of Storm Henry as the Met Office’s amber warning covers the bulk of Scotland but only reaches north as far Orkney.
