News / Boy hurt by car at Lochside
A MAN has been cautioned and charged with road traffic offences after his car hit a 10 year old boy at the Lochside traffic lights on Monday evening.
The boy had to be taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital to be treated for minor injuries following the incident, which police in Lerwick said took place at 6.30pm.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision is asked to get in touch with the police by dialling 101.
