Letters / Equivalent to 2,000 steelmaking jobs

In numerical terms, the loss of 16 HNP engineering jobs (‘HNP Engineers facing eviction by SLAP’, SN 16/12/15) to the population of Lerwick would be equivalent to the recent loss of 2,000 steelmaking jobs from the population of Tyneside.

Much is being said by the public on the SLAP eviction of HNP but not one cheep in support of those 16 jobs has yet been heard from the town hall.
