A MOTORCYCLIST was rushed to Lerwick’s Gilbert Bain Hospital on Thursday morning after coming off his motorbike on the A970 at Gott.

The accident happened just after 7am.

The man has since been transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with a triple fracture on his left ankle.
