A SANDWICK man accused of assaulting a man and woman in his street with a corkscrew has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Brian William Stickle, aged 64, of 12 Veester Hill, is charged with presenting the corkscrew at the couple on Wednesday.
Honorary sheriff Sandy Cluness allowed the case to be continued without plea until 25 November when Stickle must return to court.
