Top American comic Rich Hall.

TOP AMERICAN comedian Rich Hall will visit Shetland next year.

The comic – well known for appearances on UK TV shows such as QI and Have I Got News For You – will perform in Lerwick’s Mareel on Tuesday 2 February.

The date will take place during the Highlands and Islands leg of his ‘3.10 To Humour’ UK tour.

Emmy Award-winning Hall is known for his deadpan humour, as well as his quickfire wit. 

He has also helmed a number of BBC shows such as Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive and Rich Hall’s Continental Drifters.

Hall has also written for The David Letterman Show and has published three books – Magnificent Bastards, I Blame Society and Things Snowballs.

Tickets for the Mareel date went on sale via Shetland Box Office on Friday morning.
