News / New althing season

THIS WINTER’S Althing programme kicks off on Saturday with “speedy debates” on old issues. The two teams of speakers – made up of Donald Murray, Leona Smedley, Pat Brown and Drew Ratter – will speak for a few minutes on a variety of subjects previously debated at the Althing in the 1950s. The first debate of 2015/16 takes place in the small room at Tingwall Hall at 7.30pm.
