QC Jonathan Mitchell will resume his submission on Tuesday morning.

THE ELECTION Court hearing into a challenge against Northern Isles MP Alistair Carmichael’s election at the Court of Session in Edinburgh is into its second day on Tuesday. 

Proceedings are due to resume at 10.30am, with the petitioners’ QC Jonathan Mitchell set to continue with his submission. For a recap of yesterday, click here.
