News / Digital connectivity
SHETLAND Islands Council is holding a series of consultation meetings this week to better understand the digital connectivity needs of businesses and households.
Development committee chairman Alastair Cooper said: “We want to have a discussion with local businesses, public organisations and private individuals to hear how any improvements to connectivity could help them, which can help us develop our own approach.”
The public sessions will be held in room 10 of the Islesburgh Community Centre starting on Monday:
- Monday 7 September 1600-1730, 1900-2000, 2000-2100
- Tuesday 8 September 1600-1700, 1700-1800
- Wednesday 9 September 1130 – 1300
