News / Lifeboat called to help yacht

THE LERWICK lifeboat was called out this afternoon to assist a yacht with a flat battery.

The 28-foot Lucky Maru, which was near Noss and en route to Lerwick, was towed into the town’s harbour by the lifeboat at around 4pm.

The yacht had two people on board.
