A SHETLAND woman accused of assaulting a nurse and a policeman in the local hospital has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday.
Fiona Manson, aged 42, has been charged with punching a police constable on the head in her home at 37 Hoofields, Lerwick, on Thursday.
She also faces charges of kicking the same constable on the head and butting a staff nurse on the head at Lerwick’s Gilbert Bain Hospital later the same day.
Sheriff Philip Mann continued the case without plea until 2 September.
