News / Ferry disruptions
INTER island ferry services on both Yell and Bluemull Sound are down to one vessel after the Bigga as well as the Dagalien developed engine problems.
Bookings have been suspended on both services; there’s no indication at this stage when these situations will be resolved, according to a council
spokeswoman.
Usually the Fivla would stand in, but she is currently on the Skerries route as cover for the Filla, which is in for her annual docking.
Note: Yell Sound was back to a two ferry operation at 6pm on Tuesday.
