A MAN from Scalloway facing a series of drug-related charges was reased on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Kevin Clark of 5 Undirhoull, East Voe, is accused of having cocaine and cannabis resin in his possession at an address in Lerwick’s King Harald Street on Wednesday.
He has also been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice by fleeing from and struggling with police officers, attempting to dispose of controlled drugs in King Harald Street and Commercial Road nearby and failing to provide a breath specimen to assert his ability to drive.
The case was continued without plea until 8 July.
