FIRE fighters in Whalsay were called to a fire in a house in Brough on Wednesday at just after 8am.
They used hose reel jets and a set of breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.
Fire Control in Inverness said a bedroom was affected by smoke damage.
There was also damage to plasterboard as a vanity unit was destroyed. No one was injured.
