News / Football in jeopardy
SHETLAND’S football season is in jeopardy due to a shortage of office bearers.
Shetland Football Association is holding an emergency meeting on Thursday evening in a desperate attempt to fill three vacant positions.
The positions of vice chair, secretary and discipline and registration clerk are all voluntary, but without them the association is unable to function.
Chairman Irvine Burgess has asked every team in the isles to seek out volunteers to attend the meeting at Lerwick’s Clickimin at 7pm.
