A MAN from Lerwick was kept in custody after appearing in private before Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday for allegedly being in possession of two knives.

George Anthony Hogg made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. He is due to re-appear before the court in seven days time.
