News / Coffee & cake fundraiser

A TOTAL of £900 was raised at a coffee and cake evening in Whalsay for the Mind Your Head and Macmillan Cancer Support charities.

Rudi Meier, along with friends and families, hosted the evening and he is pictured presenting half the money to Jacqui Clark from Mind Your Head.

The funds will go directly to assisting the local charity’s efforts to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing, in addition to helping with the cost of developing new support services in Shetland.
