BRAE lad Stephen Rocks has won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth fencing championships, held in Largs this week.

Rocks came third in the men’s sabre event against fencers from 20 different Commonwealth countries.

He and is brother Christopher will also be fencing in the team events later this week with good chances of medals.

The competition in the National Sports Centre at Largs is being streamed at http://www.cfc2014.org
