News / Airport passenger rise
TRAFFIC at Sumburgh Airport continues to grow, with a 15 per cent year-on-year increase from July to September this year. Figures published by HIAL show 86,633 passengers passed through the airport in the third quarter of this calendar year – an increase of 11,469 on the corresponding period in 2013.
