I wonder how this new carrier bag law/charge (which I’m in favour of) will affect the Tesco online shoppers after next Monday (Carrier bag charge; SN, 14/10/14)
The ‘personal shoppers’ that I’ve observed in Tesco have a ream of carrier bags in their trollies and seem to put every single item into its own individual bag.
Will the cost of the online shopping rise significantly to cover the cost of said bags?
Will Tesco cover the 5p cost of each and every bag? Or will Tesco put a stop to this ridiculous practice?
We should be told.
