A SHETLAND youngster has been remanded in custody after appearing in private in Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday following last week’s incident when firearms officers were sent to the isles.
Sixteen year old Samuel Barlow has been charged with two counts of theft, four counts of assault, one of abusive and threatening behaviour and one of malicious damage.
Barlow made no plea or declaration and was fully committed for trial.
