Letters / ‘A right showing up’
I doubt if Philip Andrews has a clue what “exemplary behaviour” actually is! (‘Darling’s behaviour exemplary’, SN 11/9/14) This is because his own behaviour is shocking and totally unacceptable.
To refer to Scottish people, who will be exercising their democratic right to an opinion and a vote in the referendum, as “stupid”, really demonstrates that it is Mr Andrews who is stupid.
To call politicians, in a letter which I guess is supporting a No vote, “pie-in-the-sky thugs” is just ridiculous beyond belief. No voters must be very embarrassed by this rant.
There are several MPs and politicians I’m not fond of but it never occurred to me to write such a disgusting letter.
To use an old Scottish phrase – Mr. Andrews has just given himself “a right showing up”.
