Dylan Moran

COMIC genius Dylan Moran, who has sold out shows across the globe, is to perform his new stand-up show Off the Hook at Lerwick’s Mareel on 5 March next year.

Known as “the Oscar Wilde of comedy”, Moran is best known for his hugely popular Channel 4 sitcom Black Books that won a BAFTA and a Bronze Rose of Montreux, to add to his own Perrier Award.

His film career spans Shaun of the Dead, Run Fat Boy Run, A Film With Me In It and most recently Calvary.

Shetland Arts are recommending people book early with tickets going on sale this Friday at 1pm priced £25/£23 online at Shetland Box Office, in person at Mareel or Islesburgh Community Centre, or by phone on 01595 745555.

Patrons and supporters of Mareel will be able to book two tickets per person ahead on Thursday.

The show is recommended for 15+ as it contains strong language and adult themes.
