THE RYDER Cup golf trophy is to stop off in Shetland next week. Travelling by helicopter, it is due to land at the UK’s most northerly golf course, Whalsay, at 9.45am on Tuesday. Whalsay Golf Club ladies vice captain Margie Pearson said everyone was “extremely excited” and it was set to be a “brilliant day”.
