Letters / Dividing a nation
I FIND IT baffling that the biggest decision ever to be taken in Scotland is being compared to a badge or cup with a logo on it. It’s utterly senseless that someone would feel the need to even write about it.
This referendum have the potential to divide families and communities, and doesn’t come down to cups of tea at all.
This referendum is dividing Scotland, that doesn’t means it’s hostile, but come 18 September, millions of people will be elated, millions extremely upset, and that will linger for years to come. Regardless of who comes out on top.
The Referendum. Dividing a nation, uniting nothing.
