News / App problems
SHETLAND transport partnership ZetTrans hopes to resolve technical problems with its new Shetland Travel Information app and webpage travel.shetland.org by the end of Friday.
Users of the new service discovered problems when they logged in, according to transport development manager Michael Craigie.
He said web developers NB Communications who designed the service are addressing the issue and hope to clear up any difficulties by the end of the working week.
Craigie said: “The changes we have made to the timetables have been quite substantial and the amount of new information is huge.
“It was only when we put it into use that these problems cropped up so we are hoping to have them all resolved by the end of Friday.”
Meanwhile paper copies of the new bus timetables which come into effect on Monday are available on buses, in local shops and public buildings.
Information is also available at www.zettrans.org.uk or by phoning ZetTrans on 01595 744868.
